Hi there.

I am fairly new to this board and only start reading all the previous posts since researching my problem. I have been alarmed to the fact that I might indeed have Low - T. I am currently 25 years old, turned in March.

In the last two weeks I have been experiencing problems holding an erection. I find it very had to focus during sex/masturbation - leading to me losing it half way through. Previously this never happened. Now I struggle to get it up and its is starting to get on my mind. This lead me to search for answers via the Net, and I have come across other possible related causes.

My sleeping patterns are mon-fri 9am starts. However, consistently every friday and saturday for the last year, I stay up to 4-5am going out.
I rarely do any exercise.
I have problems with concentration at work. As in, I literally cannot stay awake during the afternoon periods and doze off at work. This has been happening since last year. It has become such a problem, that i have to go to the toliet and power nap in there for atleast 15minutes

So, is there any natural ways I can fix my problems, other than medication?

Thanks in advance, any advice i will appreciate.

Worried,
Fuzz

One possibility is diabetes. It can cause sexual problems and is often associated with being sleepy in the afternoon. Other symptoms may include being overweight, craving sugar, frequent urination, low exercise capacity, foggy head/concentation problems. Try eating no sugar for 2 weeks and see if the symptoms go. No sugar would include no bread, buns, cake, cookies, fruits and vegetables like corn or peas (basically the Addison's diet). If that works, then its time for a trip to the doc to get a check up.

You have not mentioned anything about libido/sex drive...Is yours still strong?

Do you have nighttime or morning erections? If not that would be a strong sign of low T. But 2 weeks is not enough time to have symptoms and get too concerned. I think trying to change your diet and sleep time on weekends would be a good start. If that does not help and this goes on for more than a month or two then consider getting hormones tested. Go from there. Do not jump into hormone replacement too quickly as it can be for life once you start it.

hi there... thanks for your replies.

I am about 180 cm tall and about 75 kgs, so I am not overweight by any standards. So do reckon I might have diabetes?

At the moment, I do not get any spontaneous erections in the morning and night. I have lots the urge lately to want sex or 'get it up' with ease.

Should I try and improve my diet? any suggestions?
