hi just wondering how your son is doing? my daughter is not enimic she has been checked alot this past month .is your son? my daughter has developed eye probs this past month i think she may need glasses she has never had eye prob before... is that with colitis also or just crohns ? it feels like i'm splitting hairs between the 2 how is your son doing on the meds? we aren't sure here yet...

Hi Ladybuggy, my son seems better today than he was over the weekend after the colonoscopy. He was in the bathroom every hour of the day and ran a low grade temp. The doctor thinks he possibly caught a virus.I was so nervous sending him to school today thinking he was going to have to run to the bathroom constantly,but thank goodness he managed to go through his day without having to. You're so right about the eyesight and colitis and crohns. My son had problems too. He 's been wearing contacts for about a year now. He has to go for more blood work in two weeks to see how he's responding to the medication. If he's still anemic, he will have to go on iron pills. Has your daughter started he medication yet? If so, is her condition any better?Also, which medication is she on?
