I had an outbreak in the form of a cold sore about three or four weeks ago. During that period of time I used some blistex to clear it up. About two days ago I used the same blistex just for chaped lips and now im experiencing another outbreak. Did using the same blistex lip balm cause it to come back??? Is this possible?? The outbreak is very small. Smaller that any outbreak Ive ever had. Is it possible that I was already experiencing an outbreak and the blistex helped? Which is more likely?
