bleeding on day 12 post embryo transfer. what should i expect?

It's really hard to tell.

After my IVF cycle, my nurse stressed that it was very important to continue taking my meds even if I started bleeding. It could be nothing.

Are you scheduled for a pregnancy test?

Hi, I just have to tell you that I had my embryo transfer almost three weeks ago now with five day embryos. On about the 8th day I started bleeding for a few days. I totally convinced myself that that was it and I wasn't pregnant. Continue to take the medications, on the tenth day I went for my blood test and even told the nurse I thought I most likely wasn't pregnant. I was in complete shock when she called and told me my test was positive! And I had really strong numbers that more than doubled on my second test. I felt awful that I had so little faith! So, I just want to tell you dont worry about it. I was told some people bleed, and its too early to think anything about it. Just keep taking your medications and don't lose hope!
