This time when I got an ob I experienced a terrible inflammation of the outer portions of the vagina (vulva). It looked so raw; it also was extremely itchy.


It seems that everytime I get a new outbreak something new appears with it. It used to be that I could almost predict the site of an ob but not anymore.

Please let me know if any you folks can identify ...and how did you treat it.

Susie, have you talked to your doctor about the fact that your Valtrex doesn't seem to be working? Maybe you could try Famvir instead. Sometimes one works when the other doesn't.

You might also be getting secondary infections, like vaginal yeast or something. I think you should get your doc to look at these new symptoms.
