I posted a couple of days ago regarding testing for possible H.
The RN looked at me down there and said that she saw "irritated skin" and unusual discharge.
Under the microscope, the discharge turned out to be bacterial vaginosis (BV) - which incidentally can be brought on by herpes.
I insisted that she do a swab of the red area. She said that it would hurt and she hated to do it. But it absolutely did not hurt a single bit.
My fever has gone away. But I'm achy and I can't really sit comfortably. It does not hurt when I urinate. I feel sharp pains from time to time on left side. I am certain that I have some virus, whatever it may be, because I have a sore throat, itchy eyes, and general malaise.
I won't get my results until next Monday.
Also, I've decided to wait on the blood test so that I will decrease my chances of getting a false negative.
Thanks for reading and helping out.
This is really nerve-racking, but I don't have to tell any of you that.
