I am in my first IVF cycle. When I was given my first schedule using suppositories was listed for this last week. I was confused because the suppositories listed were not the same as I was given. I contacted my coordinator and through miscommunication I now find out that even though she told me I was doing everything fine she didn't intend for me to use the suppositories yet. The ones I started using were Endometrin which I find out are to be used after ET. I'm susposed to give myself the hcg shot tonight and have ER on Thursday morning. I'm afraid to continue use of the suppositories and I'm afraid not to use them because I think it start AF if I stop. HELP I think I've screwed up my entire cycle and we're so close.

Hi there bls22. I think you might get better help and advice on this website, but on another board.....not very nicely named "Infertility" but most of the ladies there are on assisted conception, but I'm sure they would be much better help to you. Best of luck x

Just so you know, I think I did the exact same thing with a FET cycle a few monrhts ago. I was told to start taking my medicine vaginally about a week before my E/T to try and help my lining. Well I was only prescribed one type of suppository (which I had never previously used) and so I had assumed that was the medicine I was to take. The day before my transfer we figured out that I should have been taking a little blue pill called estradiol vaginally and not the suppositories (progesterone) that were also prescribed to me. We proceeded with the transfer even tho my RE was a little bit concerned. In the end, I actually had a late implantation with that cycle and a week later had an early m/c. But I guess my point is I did have implantation. Since my prior 2 IVF cycles were complete failures I always wondered if my "mess up" actually helped me!!! Good luck... I hope it works out for you in the end.
