I'm so confused right now and I don't know what to do. I just want someones opinion on my condition. Please, please I beg for some insight. This is kinda long but please bear with me. I havne't had any luck anywhere els. I know I should get tested, and I will I just want to hope it could be somthing els.

About 2 and a 1/2 years back I had a one night stand where the condom broke. About 2 weeks later there was a rash that looked similar to pubic lice, after I stopped picking at it and put some anti-biotic cream on it it went away and has never returned.

About 6 months later with a new girlfriend, we always had unprotected sex. We dated for about 1 year and neither of us has any noticable symptoms, I was always checking myself out. Nothing.

When we broke up I went about another year without any sexual contact but my hand. No signs of anything.

One night after one of my sessions I noticed a slight pinkish sore on the ring of my penis and thought it could just be friction burn (lol). No puss, didn't itch/burn. Dosen't look like any STD pictures I've seen. Then me and my new gf of about 5 months started having sex. These slight sores came back, instantly after sex. I let them heal and there was nothing there but then again, after sex, masterbation, oral or any friction, these little sores are right back and I have to let them heal again. Now what confses me is they come right away after, there is no waiting period of a few days. It's within the hour of any frictional contact. This has been going on for about 4 months. I find that anti-fungle cream helps heal the pinkish sores faster (Or makes them dissaperar). But they never go away (I say this cause they keep coming back). I can look completly free of any signs and right away after they are there and I don't understand this. Is this a common thing for herpes? Could I just have a minor skin condition? I just want some help before I take the big step to go get tested. I guess I don't want to think that it IS herpes and could just be somthing els.

Hi SC,

I'm not a doctor and can't say if it's herpes or not, but the pattern of outbreaks doesn't seem like herpes. Herpes will some up and stay for at least a few days usually, but unless you're practically smoking after sex http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif I don't know if "ordinary" friction would necessarily trigger it and not that quickly. How often does this happen and how long does it take before it goes away?

I would wonder more about a yeast or other fungal infection, especially if it responds to antifungal cream. If you're getting it like clockwork after sexual contact of all kinds, I wonder if your gf might have a high yeast condition too, like Candida.

Do go to a doctor and get him/her to take a look at fresh symptoms that haven't been treated with the cream. Get a type-specific blood test done for HSV while you're at it. Keep us posted what you find out. Good luck!

They come everytime and don't stay for long. Maybe a few days. But they start to get better as soon as I put the cream on. Like, about 30 min after sex or masterbation, they are at the peak as I would say, then the next morning they are already starting to go away. So they don't stay "Fully active" for a few days. Sometimes they come lighter then other times but then again somtimes the friction dosen't last as long etc. They seem to flair up a bit more with vaginal sex then oral. And that's less friction. They even come when masterbaiting with a condom and baby oil over the condom to reduce dircet friction.

Thanks so much TheOneInFour!
