But...I have the results and don't know what they mean.
Originally I had the swab...it came back positive.
So now, here is the blood.

IgM= Neg hsv1
Neg hsv2

IgG = Neg hsv1
positive hsv2 5.00


So, doesn't that show that I recently got it?
What do you think?

It just shows that you have a high level of antibodies against HSV-1 but it does not say when. Maybe if it is a high level we could say it is not so recent so your body had time to develop a lot of antibodies? 5.0 seems like a lot.
