I am feeling a burning type sensation between my groin and leg, around the join. There is no redness or dryness it just comes and goes.

Could this be Herpes?

As I replied to you a few days ago, you should see a doctor, and do so ASAP while there are still symptoms to examine. There are many things that could cause what you're describing, only one of which might be herpes. Please see a doctor. And let us know how you make out.
