Hubby just got back his ALT test results. Is 147 really high or not? Couple of months ago it was 118. Can someone please tell me what is going on? 2 other test came back higher to. Is 147 a concern? Please let me know. Bonnie

I would say to you that I have seen higher, but the normal range is [21-72], so it is twice what it should be. What would you say?

When I was first diagnosed with Hep C, my ALT was 153. I also had elevated AST enzymes in my blood. This eventually led to my diagnosis for hep C.
