Hi I am 18 and I was living off the streets for a while ago and now I am home again. BUt I was raped and I just found out that I was gential herps and I am so depressed and blamming myself can anyone or does anyone know any suport groups here? PLease HELP!!!

If you want a live support group, call your local hospital. They should be able to get you some referrals. Or call your county clinic for referrals, or your family doctor. If you didn't report this to the police you should. At least here in the states there are usually victims programs where you can get counseling paid for.

What you went through is not your fault, though you increased the risk of it happening by being on the streets. But rape is still not your fault. DO get help, girl, because you won't be able to move on until you do!

You need to get beyond feeling hurt and guilty to the anger. I heard someone say that on the radio today, and it really applies. Anger energizes us, while hurt and guilty feelings drain us. We can use the energy of the anger to make the needed healthy changes.
