I'm not sure if i'm in the right place, but wondering if someone can help me.
Last year fall i had severe diareah that turned into bloody, was taken to hospital- stayed 4 days.. did colonscopy, said showed coilitis. Then prescribed NO meds since got better. Since then have remained in contact with GI doctor.. have had 2 flare up , went away with in a week. my gi said take imodium, and call.
now there is blood mixed with stool, sometimes just a little blood no stool. No diarreah, but am going often ( 8 x day), doctor gave a scirpt for hydrocotizone suppository, said sounds more like hemmorids, that colitis would be constant diarreah w/o meds.
has anyone else ever had this happen? Is my gi doctor a nut? do i use the suppositry? any help or advise is great!:
