Oh Amy! I can't thank you enough for starting this thread for me....... you are so sweet! I also think of you often and wonder how you and your precious little guy are getting on. I do still read the boards regularly but don't often post. Things have been hectic around here. DH broke his leg playing rugby a couple of weeks ago and had to spend a week in hospital. He is now at home but is not allowed to put any weight on his leg so I have been busy caring for him. The kiddies keep me busy too. It seems that the older they get the more time I spend running around after them, taking them to school and soccer practice and helping them with mountains of homework. I love it, but it is very time consuming. I don't have a lot to report in regards to IF........ I have just finished AF and we will be trying our last natural cycle this month. I am to ring the clinic on CD1 next month and will start down regulating on CD21. I will also be starting a new job next month and am feeling a bit nervous about juggling everything. I know it sounds mad to be starting a new job before embarking on an IVF cycle but I think it is for the best. IF has been such an emotional rollercoater for me and I need to think realistically...... if the IVF doesn't work then at least I have lots of other things to keep me going. The extra money will be great too!
I really do hope that you, DH and Jeremy are all doing well. Are you back at work yet? I am sure that you have all settled nicely into your new home by now too. Thank you once again for thinking of me, it really does mean the world to me. Take care my friend.
Love Ruby

Hi Ruby, pleased to have an update from you as I was thinking about you 2 days ago and realised that I'd not read a post from you for a while. There's not many Antipodeans on here!!:D

Hi Ruby, well onto my last round of clomid 100. Only on CD3, but last cycle we pulled out all the stops. Charting temps., diet, vitamens, acupuncture, HSG, exercise, positive thinking :D it all ended in Af.
So feeling a bit low and introspective since AF arrived, but the sun is shining and I have to cheer up and kick myself up the bum!:D
Good luck with your natural cycle

Hi Airline
I know it is so hard to remain positive all the time........ I have certainly had more than my fair share of lows since going through IF. You have a great attitude though and I really do hope that you have better luck this cycle. How many rounds of clomid have you had so far?
Good luck and *****babydust*****

I had 2 rounds at 50 and then this is my 4th at 100. It was supposed to regulate my very unregular cycle....hasn't really done that. I've had 43 days, 28 days, 30 days etc.
Quite frankly I'm giving my OBGYN one last chance. The only thing he's done is put me on Clomid and send me for an HSG.
Everything else I've researched and gone into myself. He didn't direct us to any reading material, websites, give us pamphlets, not even advise me to chart temp. nothing.
Sorry, get a bit roused up about it all. Anyway, DH is off for his sperm analysis results in a minute. It's his 3rd, so we have 2 to compare it to. ***pray***
Something else we orchastrated ourselves.
If this cycle doesn't work....I'm with you sister...going natural. Give my body time to recover from the clomid effects.;)

What an absolute roller coaster! It does seem very unfair that your ob hasn't given you more direction. That is one of the best things about this website. Not only does it offer support and ideas but it has also helped to keep me motivated when I've felt like giving up.
Personally, I always felt that the BFN's were harder to take when I was on clomid. Each time I tried something new I would get renewed hope and when it didn't work it hit me twice as hard. Hopefully for you the 100mg will be the key to your success.
I will definitely try and keep up to date with your progress........ GOOD LUCK!!!

Oh Airline, I'm sorry but please don't lose heart just yet. I don't really know about morphology but at least his count his good! I am sure there are other ladies here who will be able to offer suggestions on ways to increase the morphology.
Thinking of you and sending you comforting hugs.

HI there
SO glad to read this update from you......
I am sorry about Dh s leg i am sure that you took good care of him though i guess it s not easy taking care of 2 kids and a patient. Hope that he is better now.
So how s your natural cycle going? Oh wouldn t it be just amazing if you get your BFP now...i ll definitely be praying for that.
I think it s a great idea that you re planning to work again. I am sure that you ll be able to cope with everything. I ve been at home for 41/2 months and even though i adored being with Jeremy i think that i needed to go back to work too even if it s just part time. In fact i actually had my 1st day of work today. I ll be working full time in summer as DH is a teacher and schools close for 3 months here.then i ll switch to part time when he goes back.
I have more or less ettled at my new house many things are still not ready and we have loads of furnishing left to do. Everything s so expensive so getting things done slowly.
Wishing you all the very best for this natural cycle...........and if things don t go as we hope now i am so positive that we ll be celebrating your bfp a few weeks later. Hope to keep in touch.
Big hugs and lots of love
Amy
