FOr those with fibromylagia, did you ever get shoulder pain?
I have right shoulder pain (hurts mostly when lying down) (two weeks) and I have left pelvic pain (hurts mostly when I get up and stretch) (2 months)
Sometimes my right chest feels like a pressure on it right above the right breast.
Doctors are perplexed. So, they say I have stress and fibromylasia syndrome.
I had a negative MRI of pelvis, abdomen, and negative chest xray, negative blood work, negative shoulder xray.
I of course think I have mesothelioma and it went undetected with the chest xray.
Any help??

Right shoulder, left shoulder, hips, arms, etc....... My shoulders are what I refer to as ground zero. They are the first sites that caused me trouble. Now I can hurt anywhere; one area at a time or absolutely everywhere. My son and I (he has fibro too) jokingly refer to whatever is hurting as our "muscle of the day".:jester: As if that area has gotten special permission to act up today. It keeps us from going into the whole conversation and dwelling on it too much.
I feel sorry for him because most people look at me and see a middle aged, over weight woman and figure it's only natural that I'd have problems moving. He is going to turn 24 this month and is'nt heavy. He wants to be active like and with his friends in college but is often hindered by his worst days when he has no energy to function on.
We both have thought at times we were crazy and at times where even made to feel that way. It's not in your head hun, it's fibro.

Are you my long lost twin?? :D
I feel for your son too. I look at my 5 year old and pray - "please don't ever let him feel the way I do." (((Hugs))) to you both.
