Hi

My father recently had a biopsy on a large lump under his arm. among other things the pathology report mentioned neuroendocrine carcinoma of unknown primary, poorly differentiated. Possibly not from the lung because of some negative reading and to look at Gastro or Merkel cell. i haven't got the report with me so can't copy it all down. I have been doing research on the net and it seems i cannot find anything positive on this type of cancer. I am so worried about him. i haven't told my parents what i am reading on here because i do not really understand it all and do not want to worry them. His Doctor sent him for CT scans on his abdomen and chest yesterday. His Doctor also said he has not had a patient with this type of cancer. His appointment with the Oncology unit is in about 3 weeks. So far his only symptom was the growing lump under his arm.If anyone has any experience with this i would appreciate the help. Thankyou

Sharyn
