I am one of those people that never knows how their bowels are going to act on a daily basis. Things can be going great and then all of a sudden I can't seem to have a bowel movement. Recently, when I am constipated, I notice that any stool I pass has mucus on it. The mucus only occurs during those times when I am constipated and have to strain to have a bowel movement.
