sweetcheek 06-06-2008, 05:17 PM who has had capral tunnel surgery Sponsor kaseykhristine 06-07-2008, 10:00 PM I had endoscopic release surgery almost two weeks ago. It was great. No problems really, except now it is the pinky and ring finger going numb which are related to the ulnar nerve which they did check when I had my nerve conduction done. I don't know It was easy but now something else is wrong. I don't believe it's dr.'s fault but still is aggreviating just wanted all this to be over. saf76 06-14-2008, 10:09 PM I had surgery on both hands at the same time 5 month ago.It was the endoscopic type.I don't have any numbness at all anymore. For the first month I had numbness in my ulner nerve but it went away after a month.I would have the surgery again if I had to.Not a bad thing more good than bad. Make sure you find a good doctor with alot of experience.I didn't have any physical therapy either.Good luck with your situation. Sherry64 07-08-2008, 12:22 AM I had open surgery on both hands about 3 years ago. I do not have the numbness and pain any more, but I did lose a lot of the strength I once had in my hands. Overall though it was a very good experience. carwashidiot 07-10-2008, 09:27 PM Had it a few years ago on right hand. Unfortunately never healed. ( Sent back to work 2 weeks after surgery) Worse off than before. Wear braces on both hands now. Constant pain. Drs already said nerve study not bad enough to do another surgery. Just dealing with the pain. Think I have arthritis on top of this.:( Would love to have relief. Just find right Dr. and right job |
