I saw an add in the MD magazine and thought it might be helpful. Anybody?

It would probably feel good. I'd love to sit on one and just have that motor crank my legs around.
I last rode a real bike about 3 years ago. I rode slowly about 1 mile through my neighborhood. My thighs were on fire by the time I got home and my heart was going about 120 beats per minute. Getting going was the hardest part. I just didn't have the leg power to accelerate and wobbled dangerously until I got going. I gave my bike away to my daughter's friend right afterwards.
I'll have to look up that bike !

I know what you mean before I was dx and was in therapy for "my back" ha-ha, they had me ride an exercise bike and I too had the burning thighs AND my legs felt like spagetti for a long while after.
I did try and look it up online to see how much it would be, but I could't find out without calling or giving my e-mail. That's one reason I asked on here.
It sure would be nice to have one.

Helllo to all,
It's been awhile since I've been here but I'm doing well. I use a motorized cycle that sits on the floor. I love it. It gives my leg muscles a good workout and I don't have to worry about climbing on anything. It says I can use it on my hands but I haven't tried that yet. I found mine at a local thrift store for $10 but you can find them in other health stores and catalogs for about $150. It helps me because I'm still moving my legs even though I'm not actually walking.
