View Full Version : Lump under right collarbone; scared.

Hi everyone; I'm hoping someone can tell me something! First a quick history; I had a mammogram a few weeks ago and they saw "something" that didn't look right, so they did a diagnostic mammogram to have a closer look at my left breast. The doctor said it was a small cluster of calcification, no indication of breast cancer and she considered the results negative. Then about a week ago, I discovered a hard lump a few inches below my right collarbone. It does not move with my skin and it is slightly sore when I press it, but not too painful.

I called my gynecologist and she wants to see me right away (tomorrow afternoon). In the meantime, I'm worried. I've seen some articles on the net that talk about inflammatory breast cancer. I already have an undiagnosed inflammatory condition (I just had a flare up about two months ago that lasted about 10 days; very sore chest and my sed rate and R.A. factor were high.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this; I have about 20 hours to worry if I have cancer or not.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Nan
