I've had reflux for around 2 years now. Sometimes it's really bad, sometimes I barely have it. Last summer it went about 95% away, then came back big time in November. Now it's June and my reflux is getting better again. I think exercise might really have a big effect on acid reflux. In the winter I walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week but at slow speed. It had no effect at all. But now that it's summer, I've been exercising to the point of exhaustion (basketball, faster speed on treadmill, mowing large lawn all the time etc.). I'm thinking maybe it speeds up digestion, also I go to the bathroom once a day now, when reflux was bad it was once every 3 days.

Also don't drink alcohol and then exercise in the heat, almost passed out. Alcohol, heat & exercise don't mix, found out the hard way.
