I'm only 18 and was diagnosed with it last week, we think it was triggered by Ibuprofen that upset my stomach whilst i was having a bad week with IBS.
Anyways, i know my other symptoms are actual symptoms of it, but i was just wondering about one inperticular, i've been having a burning/achy feeling specifically in the middle of the area between my navel and my breast bone, it hurts when i touch it, and before now i've had a funny feeling from that area to my chest/neck area. I also get it with heartburn, i persume it's a symptom but why does it actually hurt there? anyone know? is it to do with my stomach? i'm really confused. It's off and on but can get really uncomfortable.
Thanks =] x

Hey there. I am not sure the reason but I absolutely have pain in that area. My chest gets very sore as if either 1) I just workedout and also 2) the skin is dry and irritated. It is very weird that it is felt on the outside. My doctor thinks I am now very sensitive to normal sensations within the esophagus. I would definitely get a full work-up though if you are concerned. I cant really help much but I definitely have that chest pain/soreness on an almost daily basis
