The best source of information comes from those with experience. I have been told I will need hip replacement in the not so distant future. What questions did you feel were important to have answered before surgery?

I had knee problems for more than 30 years so I had plenty of experience with problems and since I had 6 knee surgeries I had a pretty good idea of what I didn't know. Even though I asked tons of questions before TKA there were a few things that I didn't think about.

Thanks for your ideas.

Will your surgeon let you talk to one or two of his previous patients?
Read as many of the posts her that you can.
