I'm off to recover for the weekend! I'm a little concerned because my "spotting" has been increasing the past couple days (the first day when I had the coloscopy, I don't recall bleeding much or at all) and I'm embarrassed to say there's a smell that I don't agree with.. anyone experience this? I just showered today (swear I'm not anti-heigenetic!) and so.. yes.. just a little concerened..
Anyway.. weekend rest should do the trick. I wish you all the best healing for yourselves too! ;)
Keep updating, I'll want a lot to read when I get back!

I had an odor after my cone biopsy. It lasted about 3 weeks, but it wasn't anything that concerned my doctor or husband, just me. I later heard it was the stitches disolving or that it was the cauterized tissue. I don't know what it was, but *I* thought it was a bit unpleasant. I *do* know that I oozed/seeped for about 2.5 weeks. I was so relieved when that stopped.
I hope you rest a lot this weekend! Let us know how you are doing.

I am telling you, I have never felt un-sexier in my life.. it's really affecting my inimacy with my boyfriend and I.. but I'm glad to know this is natural and reassuring to know it WILL STOP.... sooommeeddaayy.
What about cramping btw? How long did that last? I had a couple pretty bad cramps (I've had worse on my period) this weekend and got scared that maybe there was an infection.. The funny thing is my gyno said not to stick anything up there for a day and that I'd be getting "coffee ground" like stuff out for a day or two and instead I noticed cramping for a couple of days, peanut butter like stuff coming out for 3 or 4 days and blood for 3 days, just two days AFTER the procedure.. The odor has either faded or else I've become used to it, but my bf didn't smell it either.. Now I can't decide what's worse, the procedure or the post-procedure side effects! =P
(like I said.. verrry un-sexy)
