My daughter had one big planters wart for about a year. When we saw the dermatoligist and he prescribed a kind of acid it started multiplying. I have some questions
How do we keep these from spreading?
Is there a better treatment?
Is there something we could use in conjunction with this treatment that would yield better results?
I bought Lotrimin spray and sprayed her shoes and sandles, will this help?

Plantars warts are caused by HPV, which is a virus, so I'm pretty sure that product won't work. There's probably not much you can do, except for keep applying the wart stuff, and feed her lots of foods rich in anti-oxidants to keep her immune system in top form. It's her own body that has to fight the virus.

I know, her immune system has been a issue, when she was nine we went through Burkitt's Leukemia. It often makes me wonder if she will continue to be suseptable to virus's or other things.
