in reference to your 'papercut' symptom:
Was it actaully a cut? or was it a fold/creases/wrinkle.
I have showed to doctors my creases and they said that there was nothing to swab.
they said it has to be a open sore or an active lesion. (which i too have not had)

Don Dada...I am a female so our situations are a little different. I am not sure what you situation is though..(i.e not sure if you think you have it or have been tested or not)
I had 3 tiny paper cut looking things down there and I wasn't sure why. I can't remember it was a year ago but they may have been itchy. Whatever the case I knew I hadn't had any paper in my crotch so something was wrong. The doctor did swab them...he thought it was weird for them to be there.
At the end of my visit he told me it was herpes. I wasn't totally surprised...months before that my boyfriend had threatened that he had given me herpes but when I questioned him he denied it.
My doctor gave me a prescription..I took it for 10 days and everything was cool. I have never had blisters or sores. My doctor did a blood test and told me I had two separate strain of HSVI. He said one had antibodies built up for years so I was probably infected as a child the other strain was new(genital). I know how odd I caught HSV I twice...that may be the reason for the mild primary. My doctor told me that most people that come to him have really bad cases and I should consider myself lucky...how funny. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif Luck would have been to not get it at all.
