I was prescribed Ambien CR 12.5 on Friday. I've been reading about withdrawals and all and don't want to go through that so I want to stop taking them. Will I experience withdrawals after only 2 nights?

I would think you'd have no problem after taking it for only two nights. It's usually after long-term usage, I believe.
If you're going to stop, now would be the time to do it!
Good luck!

No problem with short-term usage, you could go more than 2 days, for sure.
I have taken it for many years....and it still helps me most of the time.
Blessings,
Tex

I quit Ambien CR cold turkey after several years of use, and I think I had more problems taking it, such as unknowingly eating in the middle of the night. I would wake up with chips in my mouth. YUCK! But no side affects quitting.
My husband takes it while he is on the third shift to help him sleep through the day, and quits taking it through first and second shift (two weeks). His only side affects are he thinks he has to have sex. Which may not always be a bad thing. :D
My point is everyone is different, but you wont have any side affects after just a couple of days use.
Best of luck;) CT
