Oops - well.. I just realized that I had an old sore in the roof of my mouth... It is over a week old and is healing up - no pain and almost gone. BUT, I performed oral sex on him and now I am worried.... should I be? I don't know if this was even a cold sore, or just an irritation from smoking (I know... I should quit...) Thanks

Thanks so much for your reply - he has not reported any symptoms yet so I am keeping my fingers crossed. My sore was in the roof of my mouth and already almost healed - after extensive research, it looks like it could have just been a small group of canker sores grouped together. I haven't had an actual cold sore in many years (Knock on wood) I will be more careful next time for sure! Thanks again!
