View Full Version : Am I still Hepatitis A/B negative?

For nearly twenty years now I undergo a yearly Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B test for visa purposes, and I always test negative. Just recently, I infected my wife with herpes simplex 2 virus which I don't know I have because I don't have any symptoms. For clarification purposes, I never had any sexual contact with anybody aside from my wife for the last 15 years, and my wife said that she also never had any sexual contact with anybody aside from me. I had also a vaccination for Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B about 6 years ago. My question is, am I still Hepatitis free? With the activation of herpes, I am worried that something had activated some viruses in my body that were dormant for many years, like Hepatitis for example. Thanks...

There is no link between Herpes simplex virus and Hepatitis (A, B, C) virus.
If you were tested negative for hepatitis A, B, then you have not this disease.
