I would be very grateful if anyone can please let me know of any survivor stories of people suffering from advanced small cell lung cancer?

My father was diagnosed with limited stage SCLC in April 2006 and we were so happy with his treatment and the state of his health. However, just last week, we learned that he has a tumour in his brain and spreads to his other lung, two kidneys and stomach.

I am devastated and cannot believe that my father may lose the battle he has so bravely fought. I am praying day and night and still have hope that God-willing things will reverse and my dear father will be healthy again. Please let me know if anyone has survived this awful disease?
