When I was diagnoised 2 yrs ago with HPV, my Gynocologist said that I could have sexual intercourse if the man wore a condom.
I have been reading that even wearing a condom will not protect a man 100%.
I have not dated since my diagnosis and now with that information, I don't know if I ever can.
Any feed back would be greatly appreciated as I feel so alone with this condition.

I know it feels very alone, but keep in mind that most adults (85% by some estimates) have HPV at some point in their lives. It's true that condoms won't protect you entirely because the virus is spread by skin-to-skin contact. However, I think you will be surprised by how many men will be totally accepting. Just be honest about it before you have sex. I have two friends who have HPV and both have dated multiple men after their diagnosis and are now married. It's not a dating death sentence, I promise!

Does anyone know of any support groups located in the San Fernando Valley for HPV?
