 I had a gold crown that was loose so I went to my dentist to have it re-cemented. He injected some "numbing" (term used loosely) liquid into the gum and I was going "owwww!" and he Yelled at me!! "STOP That! I don't need it!!" and I said "it hurts!" and he goes, "STOP IT!" The needle didn't hurt; the liquid that came out felt like liquid fire. So I'm a paying customer and I get yelled at. It ran down to my lower gums and burned there also.
Has anyone had an old crown reglued and had this experience? I've switched dentists, of course. He is over 70 and went back after he retired. :(

I had one recemented because when it came off it wasn't damaged at all. I think all the dentist did was remove excess old cement from my tooth and put some kind of antibacterial stuff on to rinse the tooth, then cemented it. Nothing hurt though

Another crown I had came off. The dentist found out that it came off because of cavities under the crown and those had to be done then I unfortunately had to have a new crown made. Expensive.
