I have had a multinodular goiter for as long as I have had fibro (15 years). Went totally hyperthyroid when one nodule went crazy and grew to the size of a lemon in my neck and I had half my thyroid removed. Everything seems to have settled down now (that was almost 2 years ago) except I gained back all the weight I lost when I was hyperthyroid (25 pounds)!

I asked the girls on the Thyroid board with my #'s they said they look normal for someone pregnant, and said if anything I look more hypo than hyper.
Since I found out I was pregnant I came off all my meds, just taking prenatals now. I feel worse now than before I was pregnant :(
Im just looking for someone who has been thru what Im going thru, but there aren't many pregnant women with fibro and possibly thyroid problems.
I feel totally alone......thanks for telling me your stories

hope you are never alone. never. even if we do not walk the same path we walk similar paths. i take a tiny little pill once a day for thyroid.
never forget the body woman changes very much during pregnancy. hormone levels especially. thyroid produces the hormone that stimulates every other hormone producing organ to do it's thing. you can do this. i have faith in you. and you can always come lean here on us. we love ya little momma.
peace,
blue

Thank you so much blue :) I just wish I could feel good for one day! I'm still hoping that since I just entered my second trimester that things will get better.
I just keep praying me and the baby will be ok.........keep us in your prayers.
