how do you fiind out if you are the one who passed HPV to someone else. I have been to the doctor and have no signs or abnormal paps. I have read that with some people it cures it self/or goes away on its own? Is it possible that I could of had it and passed it to my partner? Is it possible for my partner to have warts and not me, if it is possible that i could have had it?

it's nearly impossible to track who gave it to whom.. If you test positive for HPV, you can pass it on to someone else, but if your immune system supresses it (which is the "cure" btw.. the virus is in your system for life and can still return if your immune system is really low) then it won't be contageous. Does that help?

Thank you , that does help . If your body is supressing the virus and you get tested, will you still show positive?
