OK to answer your question..... I had a scope two years ago which they found some polpys that were benign. The Doctor told me that most stomach polyps are benign and they do not cause any problems as long as they don't get bigger. One thing that causes them is PPIs. I just had another scope and been to the doctors this week. He told me that there were multible polyps and some got bigger. If they are too big they may bleed and have to remove them. He suggested that I take the nexium every three days if I can. He also said that they may srink if I don't take the nexium as much. Before he told me this I have been weaning myself off. I am down to no nexium for 4 days now. I do feel reflux and use zantac when it breaks through. I really want to get off the nexium. I did have reflux really bad for two years. So far it is working but you guys know it can change on a dine. He also said to switch from nexium to prolesc insead of nexium if I could. He said he feels nexium is the best of all the ppis but in some it does cause stuff that we have to be careful of.
