My question is, do any of you get muscle twitches or spasms that are random and don't hurt?? Are they caused by acid reflux? It reminds me of when I had a baby kicking around in there. haha It's weird and I want to know why it's happening. Thanks!!

Yes i get those they remind me of when i was pregnant, as far as i know its wind/gas. it was really strange the first few times i got it, i did a pregnancy even though i knew i wasnt pregnant. i also get what i call little seizures, i have'nt been told definitely what it is but i presume its wind!!!!

Thank you for responding. I have been wondering if I am the only one with this. It drives me nuts! That is the least of my worries. I am so sick of the acid effecting my throat and value. I feel miserable and have to watch everything I am eating. One 20mg prilosec just aint cutting it!

im taking 40 nexium every day, motilium and gaviscon, its hardship trying to deal with these symptoms. im sick of it!! i do find staying away from tomato based foods help and spices, and i dont eat 3 hours before going to bed. but it doesnt cure it!!! unfortunately!!

Hi Claire! I have a friend who says I could bump on the prilosec to 40 mg a day. She is on 80 mg a day. I suck on tums all the time and now wonder if I am going to have a lifelong illness with this that will eventually kill me off.
You are right about the food things. UGH! All my favorite things have gone bye bye! Like coffee in the morning :( chocolate, pizza and red sauces. They all upset me greatly. I just feel like I will never get over it. I am sorry I seem to whine and complain on every thread going here. It just helps to talk to you all. Thanks!
