Hi all -- I just got the disturbing news from my doctor that my cholesterol is high:
Total: 274 (should be <200)
HDL: 55 (should be >60)
LDL: 184 (should be <130)
I know to increase fiber, decrease fats (especially saturated/trans fats), take garlic tablets, increase exercise, lose a little weight, etc, but I do really well with laid-out mealplans and was wondering if anyone knows of a good website that has meal suggestions for lowering cholesterol. Thanks! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
