In ssdi what does maximum benefit allowable mean???The worker that called me from ssdi stated that i would receive this.I have my own thoughts on this but i am not sure if i'm right or not.Thank you for any answers to this.:confused:

I think that would mean the maximum you can recieve as on the statement you get a few months before your birthday. That is my thoughts anyways-I hope this helps you -Rachel

I think so too.
you get a statement each year on the month of your b.day stating if you reached your points to qualify for ssdi and how much you'd get benefit wise according to how many years you worked and how much you earned.

so the maximum is on that statement telling you how much you're going to get approximately each month.
