First off, I've had mild OCD since I was real young. It seems to come and go, or what I can notice anyway and recently it's seemed to be coming up alot more often. I'm not depressed (thank you God) but would like some kind of treatment for my OCD, in the past I've gone on Lexapro, another anti-d, and Luvox. All are too strong for my situation, maybe not too strong per se but the side-effects out-weigh the usefullness.
I'm after a treatment, OTC or precription that helps manage or treat OCD. My doctor is quite good in the way that he'll listen to me when I talk about what I need and if I say I don't want this but want this because of this this this he'll usually let me give it a go and see if it helps cure what ails me.
You guys got any recommendations on light or mild treatments of OCD that preferably are NOT SSRIs?

have you tried CBT? Cognitive Behavior Therapy? It's said that many OCD people benefit from this.
