Welchol??? I tried Lipitor a year ago but could not stay on it past 11 days. Since then I have tried Niacin, excercise, and diet but my numbers are still too high. The Dr. wants me to try Welchol. Has anyone used it? Did it work? What were the side effects?

I also can't take statins due to lousy side effects, so
they tried me on Welchol. I took it for 4 days and was never so bloated in all my life. The main side effects from it are bloating, constipation or diarrhea. U might be one of the lucky ones to use it, so give it a try and see what happens, but that was my experience with it. Good luck!! :) JJ
