I was recently diagnosed with HPV that causes gential warts. Once the warts are removed, how can I guarantee that the HPV is cleared from my system? Are there tests that can be done? When is it ok to have sex with someone, and know for sure that you cannot pass it on to them?

Once the warts are gone, you won't be able to spread them.. the virus, however, can still be transmitted. You cantake hpv tests and wait for the results to show whether it is active or not, but the virus will remain in your system for life and it is near impossible to tell when it is dormant and whether or not you might spread it to someone else, even while using a condom..
