Just saw the atty. today to sign papers requesting a hearing. The atty. said the Newark courts are 400 days behind. So that would be August of 2009 that I see a judge. It is disgusting. He said I should win when I go before the judge. Just hate I have to wait so long. I hope I can survive financially. What a waste of time. Took 11 months for the appeal to be denied. He said it is rare to have a vocational expert there. So now we play the waiting game. Anyone have any experiences in NJ?

Hessie I am so sorry that they are telling you it could be over 400 days. We have so many things wrong with our Social Security disability. I hope you will hear something soon and I will be thinking of you.

Thanks Linda, I guess every state is different with the wait time. It's horrible. Ever wonder how they live with themselves. It's 2008 so you would think there was a better and faster way.

Here is a link to a site from a lawyer... They give info about NY/NJ SSDI/SSI cases. If you poke around you can find more info that can be helpful.

I hope i am allowed to post this, If I am not I am sorry.
