These results have not varied for over several years. I've been on and off Lipitor, and Zocor.I'm 5'6" 185 lbs.Have not been willing to change my diet patterns, and my exercise consists of a leisurely 20 minute walk of my dog at night.I'm 51 years old, male. I had ultrasound of all my major blood vessels-absolutely clear, no blockages anywhere. Am I playing with fire here, and are these lab results not as important as my doctor thinks they are? Also, my tryglycerides were so high they couldn't measure the LDL and the other one.

what ultrasound shows no blockages, the only test to show definitely no blockages is angiogram.ive had 2 stress tests and a ct scan of heart but they still cant say definitely theres no blockages.if they cantmeasure ldl thats not good. do you smoke or have family history?

An unltrsound of the coronary arteries is not an accurate test. At 51,with your numbers, there is a good chance that you have some occlusion of some of your coronary arteries. It all depends on degree. The only thing that I know of that will clear it completely out is cancer. If you are not symptomatic, then relax. If you feel a need to know for sure,You can opt for a cardiac catherization which will tell you for sure the condition of your arteries,or a nuclear stress test that can give you an indicator of how well your heart is being supplied.
