View Full Version : Clostridium Difficile (C-Diff)

I was recently diagnozed with C-Diff and went through a treatment of Flagyl antibiotics. Evidently, it takes time to fight this infection and somtimes is not cured on the first round.

That being said, is anyone here familiar with C-Diff and a diet that would be beneficial to use? I have been eating more yogurt & taking other probiotics suppliments which some claim helps in the battle of restoring the intestines natural bacteria.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,

I am sorry to hear you have C. Diff. My 92-year-old father has had the same thing for 8 weeks and is trying to get over it. It is probably taking him longer to get over it because he is already very frail, and he has cancer, too. He just started to feel better the other day. The doctor just put him on a gluten-free diet to help him as his small intestine continues to heal. You may want to ask your doctor if this diet would be good for you.

Best of luck to you.
