My boyfriend has HPV, but we never have sex. I touch him with my hands.
My question:
Can I get herpes in my hands? and then pass it along to other parts of my body?
Thank you very much!

If your bf has hpv (human papilloma virus) you can't get herpes from him. HPV is not herpes, they are two completely different viruses.
As for getting hpv from using your hands. Yes, it is possible to get it and spread it around that way. I assume he uses his hands on you too?

I'm just joining in to say that I agree with what Thisby has said.
I want to add that the more I think and know about this virus the more angry I get. :shaking head: I guess we have to remember that our actions always have consequences, even seemingly small ones. <sigh>

It sounds like you might want to clarify with your boyfriend if he has HSV (herpes) or HPV. The two cause very different problems, but they are both VERY common.
