My husbands case was decided on but then quality review intercepted it. NO one can tell us what the disability adjudicator said b/c it could be overturned. So now we have to wait even longer, which means if he is denied it only drags it out more b/c it's another 2-3 months to have it reconsidered which will again probably go to quality review for another couple of months. I don't know how anyone can just wait.... I am loosing my mind. For all of you who have gone through this for years... God Bless... It took me over 3 years to convince my husband to file. I should have tried harder b/c then by now it would be over either way. We call and check the status every other day. Today I thought I was gonna have a breakdown, I basically vented to them and said just say yes or no already, I don't even care anymore! I am all for this quality review to make a better system but they are going about it all wrong. Either way the disability examiner decides they should go with that and tell us and then have quality review look at it and if it gets overturned then so be it. All they are doing is just adding more time to the persons claim. You hear that almost everyone who appeals eventually wins so obviously quality control isn't working b/c if they were really checking to see if decisions were being made properly we wouldn't need to appeal!!!!
Sorry to vent.............................
