I have had acid reflux for years and take prelosic. I too get dizzy spells. Maybe its do to the meds? Not sure.

I take Prevacid and it gives me dizzy spells once in a while - the longer I am on it - the more dizzy spells I am having. I too think it is a PPI side effect..

I have them also. I've never been able to figure out what causes them...my doctor even called it "acute vertigo" (basically means I get dizzy for no reason). But quite likely it's because of reflux and/or the meds.

I got some pretty bad head effects when I was taking protonix. I don't know if it was directly from the medication OR if it was from the stomach or GB issues irritating the vagus nerve. The dizziness and/or fogginess did go away when I switched to Pepcid AC (H2 Blocker). I haven't been back on a PPI since so can't say for sure but I'm pretty convinced.
