crazy question, but my normally high bp is dropping way down after taking my morning med and eating breakfast. is there something to eat or drink that will shiorten the duration of that afull feeling we get when the bp goes low?

Here are 3 possible solutions. Good luck.
1. Drink 16 oz of any kind of fluid such as water, tea, juice etc in a 15 min period. This will raise the b/p about 20 points systolic for about two hrs. I've had to do that at times.
2.) Take your b/p med with your breaksfast making sure you have about 2 tsp of some type of fat with the food. Taking the med about 1/2 through the meal probably will work best. The fat & perhaps some fiber in the meal will delay digestion in the stomach so that the med doesn't get into the blood so fast causing low b/p.
3.) Switch to another med which doesn't get into the blood so fast.
