Is it possible for a man to have prostate inflammation if he is penetrated pretty rough during anal sex?

I've never specifically read of that, but it certainly seems plausible. Anal sex in the "doggy style" position especially would cause the penis to hit up repeatedly against the prostate (from what I hear from men, that's part of the fun of it ;)), so I would say that could certainly cause some irritation and inflammation.

That seems to be the case. I had the classic symptoms of Gonnoreah and Clamyidia (burning during urination, aching testicles and white milky penile discharge). I was sure I had something but all STD tests came back negative and I was diagnosed with acute prostatitis. It was the first time I had been penetrated and my partner at the time was a little rough. We did use condoms for anal but not oral. The rough nature of hte sex appears to be the cause of the inflammation. The odd thing is that I felt no stimulated pleasure during that encounter.

I'm glad to hear that you have a diagnosis and that it was not an STD. As I'm sure you've figured out, try being a little gentler and using a lot of lube. Good luck! I hope next time is more fun for you!
