Is this determined by a cat scan or MRI? If so, is contrast/dyes used during the scan? Thanks.

Sponsor k2626 06-30-2008, 12:05 AM Hi Sammie, they detected my Dads through a CT scan. I believe they can also detect through an ultra sound. Ask your Dads dr about the dye. I was just in AZ seeing my Dad, it is insane how fast this disease progresses.. rosalinta 07-11-2008, 05:37 PM I had pancreatitis and it was sooooo painful. I had to stay in the hospital for 10 days. After that i couldn't eat food with more than 2g of fat for two and a half months. And now i'm limited to a bunch of foods as well as an amount. I found out by having the pain in my stomack. At first i thought it was gas, but then i really got the answere. Usually a doctor feels your stomach when your lying on your back and if it hurts when pressure is applied to your pancrea (which is under your chest) you should do something. |
